LoadUp Personal is live!

Sorry in advance for the lengthy post, a lot's happened in the 4 years since the last, in fact the whole site needs some tlc as the screens of LoadUp in the Samples page look nothing like they do now. Grab a beverage and put your feet up.

I've always found it frustrating to enter the same data over and over, every time I visit a different dropzone, and where LoadUp has eased the burden on the operators substantially, it's really done nothing for the individual punter. So 2 weeks ago I sat up all night with a germ of an idea going round and round in my head. What if I only had to do it once, and could carry it around in my pocket.

It's obviously built around skydiving, but there's no reason you couldn't also track all of your info and gear for any sport involving licences and gear. The app is fluid and is updated almost hourly at the moment, both for things I still want to add, and for requests coming from user feedback so you just need to ask if there's something else you want.

It's device aware and will scale and change layouts accordingly whether you're using a phone, tablet, or computer, and in either your Portrait or Landscape mode preference.

Does it cost anything?

Not currently.

Will it ever?

Probably, but not in the next couple of months at least, and when it does it will be determined from what you initial users think that it's worth.

If you're a regular at a dropzone running all of their operations with LoadUp DZ Management software, LoadUp Personal will take you straight into their system, and make your experiences even better. Combining your data with theirs will allow you to check-in prior to arrival (many are requiring this post Covid-19), sign or resign their waiver if required, let you know what credit remains on your account, display your jump currency for each jump type, and show your full jump history with them, to name just a few. They're ecstatic! You've served yourself, they easily and quickly checked your currency and gear status, and got you onto a load.
